Background location services permission and location usage

"Canopus" is a dispatching app used for Last-Mile and Proof-of-Delivery operations, used in conjunction with our route planning platform

Location with consent from the user is used for the following reasons:

1. Live monitoring of users on the route planning platform
2. Logging the place where a task is started-arrived-ended at
3. Improving the operation of the route planner, when re-routing tasks thus optimizing route times
4. Informing customers of approximate pickup/delivery times

It is also used when correcting the latitude and longitude of a customer's point

Background location services are used in case the android device is rebooted

Information Collection and Use

This app is not collecting any personal information.

Deletion of personal data

As Canopus app is a business logistics app, deletion of your personal data is only deleted after submitting certain credentials in your request.
